DESCRIPTION
"Technical: Bacillus Contortia
Target Crops: Cumin, Cotton, Soybean, Groundnuts, all Vegetables, and all horticulture crops
Target Area: Fusarium vilt, colar rot, and fungal disease
Mode of Action: Systemic Acquired Response"
CEAXOR can be used for organic production and targets common fungal diseases such as Botrytis, Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose, Didymella bryoniae (Gummy Stem Blight) and several leaf spot diseases such as Alternaria and Entomosporium. CEAXOR also controls bacterial diseases such as Pseudomonas, Erwinia, and Xanthomonas spp., as well as the soil diseases Rhizoctonia, Pythium, Fusarium and Phytophthora.
CEAXOR is a contact fungal repellent containing a strain of the Bacillus which works in two ways. First, the bacterial spores occupy space on the plant surface and compete with the pathogens; then active compounds called lipopeptides produced by each bacterium disrupt the germination and growth of invading pathogens. Due to this action, resistance is not likely to develop. CEAXOR can be used in combination with and/or in rotation with other products and as part of an effective resistance management program.
Benefits of CEAXOR:
Safe for beneficial insects and bees!
Safe for use on food crops. Can be used with growth regulators.
Effective against both bacterial and fungal diseases.
4-hour REI, 0-day pre-harvest interval.
No phytotoxicity or residues on foliage or flowers.
CEAXOR may be used anywhere plants are grown, from residential to interior to field locations. Labelled crops include ornamentals, trees, shrubs, flowers, bedding plants, tropical plants, seedlings, conifers, and greenhouse vegetables. Compatible with Beauveria bassiana products.
CEAXOR can be affected by rain or overhead irrigation as it is not rain-fast and contains no surfactant; to avoid this problem, apply with a spreader sticker like DOUSE.
How To Use:
CEAXOR can be applied as often as every 3 days. It is recommended to spray once a week for prevention when conditions are optimum for disease. This is a liquid formulation that easily goes into suspension; however, it is best to maintain agitation during mixing and application to assure uniform coverage. It is compatible with a wide range of pesticides, fertilizers and adjuvants.
Application Rates:
The most commonly used application rate is 1 Litres per 100 litres of water per acre; however, the mix can vary from 0.5 to 2.0 litres per 100 liters per acre. See Product Label for specific crops and diseases.
